Over the last fifteen years, I have had the privilege to train people in the entire spectrum of health and performance. From professional athletes, to average people trying to build muscle and lose fat, to people suffering from chronic illness and disease.
I started out in my youth playing multiple sports including baseball, hockey, track and field, cross country running, swimming, and badminton, and eventually funnelled in to baseball where I received an athletic scholarship in USA. Double majoring in exercise science and psychology, and minoring in coaching, I played NCAA baseball in North Dakota, and continued my career to summer collegiate/semi-professional baseball in the Western Major Baseball League.
Thereafter, having worked in a mental health treatment agency for two years, and in a natural medicine health centre for a year as their lead Health Coach and Personal Trainer, there is one thing I learned to be consistent in Functional Medicine Training with the practitioners, and having worked with hundreds of clients and patients. Although every person is a unique biological being, we all share physiological similarities that must be primarily focused on. When our cell health is optimized, brain chemistry is balanced, and body systems are prime, we are able to achieve results at a much higher efficiency, whether that is building muscle and strength, losing fat, slowing aging, relieving stress, or having more energy throughout the day and feeling generally strong and healthy.
